Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA), located in Bangalore, Karnataka, was established in 1986. The university campus, Prashanti Kutiram, spans 100 acres. It has received an A+ grade from NAAC and is recognised as a Category 1 institution by the UGC. As a Centre of Advanced Research (CAR) in Yoga, S-VYASA has published over 284 research papers.

S-VYASA is the only Yoga University offering a variety of Yoga courses that emphasise life training and character building with Yoga as a way of life. The institute provides undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, certificate, and a range of distance learning courses.
